My name is Russell Dehart and I am a professional software developer, father, guitarist and foodie. I guess you came here to learn a little about me? I'm not particularly good at talking about myself, but I'll give it a try.


I am a detail-oriented IT professional with more than 20 years of experience as a software developer. I have a particular interest in designing safe software focused on the principals of confidentiality, integrity and availabililty. Currently I am working towards gaining my Certified Secure Software Lifecycle Professional (CSSLP).

Responsible for developing, implementing and supporting production internal applications for the central control room. These include web-based and native mobile applications as well as WPF client applications. Technologies include ASP.NET, Visual Basic 6, Visual Basic.NET, HTML5, JavaScript, CSS3, MS SQL and Java.

  • Re-engineered a critical correspondence application that generates more than 250,000 letters per year.
